When do you think the term INTERNET was first used?

I was kind of marvelled when I found out that internet has actually been around since the 70s. Yea! I mean it.

In the internet transmission control program booklet by Vinton Cerf, Vogen Dalal and Carl Sunshine, they referred to internetworking of computer systems or inter system network as internet. That was the first time the word internet first appeared, this it was in 1974 according to IEEE.
